Leave the base
Pick a location, pack light and tell yourself this is definitely a good idea.
Closed AlphaTHE END WAS ONLY THE BEGINNING.
A slow-burn idle survival RPG about scavenging what remains, building somewhere safe and making it through one more day.
BROWSER-BASED CLOSED ALPHA · SKILLS TO LEVEL 99 · PROGRESS SAVES
SURVIVE · SCAVENGE · REBUILD
Leave the relative safety of your base, search what remains of Ashwick and bring useful supplies home. A modest terraced house becomes a workshop, store, kitchen and reason to make it back.

YOUR NEW DAILY ROUTINE
The world ended. Your to-do list did not.

Pick a location, pack light and tell yourself this is definitely a good idea.
Search derelict streets, quiet waters and whatever remains beyond the barricades.
Bring home food, timber, scrap and the occasional item that almost looks useful.
Recover, cook, craft and improve the place you intend to wake up in.
SECTOR SELECTION // ASHWICK
Abandoned streets are safer. Ransacked shops are not. Greater risks may mean better finds, provided you are still carrying them when you get home.

SKILLS // FISHING + TRAPPING
Work through new waters, better equipment and whatever is still biting. Set traps, leave them working and come back later. Survival rewards patience, mostly because the fish do not care about your schedule.

WORKSHOP // PRODUCTION
Start with crude survival equipment. Find proper tools, keep them maintained and gradually unlock less embarrassing ways to make what you need.

IMPROVISED HAMMER
CLAW HAMMER
MAKESHIFT FISHING ROD
FISHING RODBASE SYSTEMS // DOMESTIC SURVIVAL
Scavenged resources have a purpose. Organise supplies, grow food, process catches, cook meals and make four walls feel marginally less temporary.

COMBAT // ACTIVE THREAT
Equipment, weapon skills, protection and medical supplies matter when avoidance fails. The infected become more dangerous. You are expected to become less careless.

LONG-TERM PROGRESSION
Develop skills to Level 99 through practice, checkpoints, books, equipment and permanent improvements. The survivor remembers, even when the player goes to bed.

“THE RADIO STILL WORKS.
SHAME ABOUT THE REST OF IT.”
DEVELOPMENT DIRECTION // NO DATES ATTACHED
The destination is clear. The route will continue to change as Closed Alpha testing tells us what needs attention next.
Still Alive: Idle became playable and began being tested alongside a small Closed Alpha community.
Reliability, saves, mobile improvements, interface refinement and strengthening the systems already in the game.
Deeper Base progression, better preparation, recovery, storage and the systems that turn a shelter into a home.
Food, long-term survival, changing seasons and deeper ways to prepare for what comes next.
A richer world to explore, changing conditions, new ways to live off the land and more stories waiting to be uncovered.
Deeper combat, new threats, new ways to fight and greater consequences for going out unprepared.
Long-term survival, deeper Base choices, mastery and the systems that let a survivor build a life after the end.
Balance. Polish. Performance. Accessibility. Bugs. Long-term testing. No more moving the goalposts.
The complete foundation of Still Alive: Idle — plus new content waiting for both new and veteran survivors.
ACTIVE DEVELOPMENT // This roadmap shows the current direction for Still Alive: Idle, not a promise carved into stone. Features, priorities and milestone contents may move, change or disappear as the game develops and Closed Alpha feedback comes in.
CLOSED ALPHA NOW LIVE.
Selected testers are already Out There. Access remains limited, but everyone is welcome to join the Discord, follow development and see what survives the next update. Joining the community does not guarantee a testing place.
